Tie the Town Pink!

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

On Wednesday, September 30th, Dance for the Cure co-founders Joanne Liscovitz and Kathleen Cirioli met at the Hillsborough Township Municipal Complex, and along with volunteers Teri Halvorson, Deanna Cannatelli, Donna Cease, Amanda Bay, Michele Tallman, Jackie Haren and Bob Cibulskis proceeded to “Tie the Town Pink”. This is a yearly activity where pink ribbons are tied around the trees surrounding the property as a kick-off to October as Breast Cancer Awareness month and in support of Dance for the Cure.

A photo was taken with the township employees and officials outside of the entryway to the building. In addition, a Proclamation was presented by the Township Committee and the Mayor, Doug Tomson, recognizing Kathleen Cirioli as a three-time cancer survivor and as Co-Founder of Dance for the Cure with Joanne Liscovitz, for the commitment of the organization to financially help local women impacted due to a breast cancer diagnosis.

We would like to expand this project to Flemington, Somerville and Middlesex and are looking for volunteers to assist for 1-2 hours.

Please contact Joanne Liscovitz to get involved.
