Approximately 350 Pink Bows were made by 40 volunteers, and then distributed to stores and businesses throughout Hillsborough and Flemington during the last days of September and the first week in October to spread awareness throughout the communities.
The bows will remain hung by the proprietors throughout the month of October as a reminder that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to recognize how Dance for the Cure supports women in financial need due to a breast cancer diagnosis.
In addition to the individual volunteers who assisted in making and delivering the large Pink Bows, the Hillsborough High School Dance Team and members of the Chez Renee Dance Studio and L & M Dancewear, both located in Middlesex, also donated their time to assist with the 2022 Pink Bow Project. Many thanks to all who participated for making this initiative a resounding success!
