For the past two years, Brielle Kaschak has generously served as the event photographer for Dance for the Cure’s annual Ribbons of Hope fundraiser. Donating her time and talents, Brielle ensures that the evening's meaningful moments are preserved through her lens. Her dedication to the cause has been invaluable, and we are thrilled to showcase her story.
Photography has always been second nature to Brielle, who recalls holding a camera from a young age. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a career that began with photographing sports and events straight out of high school, Brielle has dedicated herself to capturing life’s most precious moments. In 2014, she took a leap of faith, launching her own business—and hasn’t looked back since.
Specializing in children and baby photography, Brielle's focus stems from her love of kids and her own large, family-oriented upbringing. “My mom is one of fourteen children, so I grew up surrounded by cousins and always had new babies to use as models,” Brielle shares. When she started her own family, transitioning from the fast-paced world of event photography to the intimate moments of family and baby portraits felt natural.
Over the years, Brielle has had the privilege of witnessing countless family milestones, but one session stands out. “I photographed a newborn alongside their 99-year-old great-grandmother,” she recalls.
“Capturing the generations interacting—playing, singing, and telling stories—is something I’ll never forget. Moments like these remind me of why I love what I do.”
Brielle first became involved with Dance for the Cure through a former client and friend, Dana, who introduced her to the community. Learning of the need for an event photographer at the annual Ribbons of Hope fundraiser, Brielle eagerly stepped in. “Volunteering my time and talents has always been important to me,” she says. Previously, Brielle offered bereavement photography at hospitals, a role she found deeply meaningful. Though parenting has made it harder to volunteer in that capacity, partnering with DFC has allowed her to give back in a new way. “Helping with Ribbons of Hope has been such a rewarding experience.”
The impact of Brielle’s work is felt far beyond the night of Ribbons of Hope. “Brielle’s photos are stunning,” says Joanne Liscovitz, Ribbons of Hope Chairperson. “She has an incredible ability to capture both the big moments and the most touching details. We are so fortunate to have her as part of the DFC family.”
Lynn Grillo, DFC Media Director, echoes the sentiment. “We use Brielle’s work all year long across our website, social media, and print materials. Her photos bring life to every channel we use—they are truly indispensable.”
As a business owner and mother, Brielle credits her success to staying calm and adaptable. “There are so many situations out of your control in both parenting and running a business,” she explains. “Being thoughtful and proactive, rather than reactive, prepares you for anything.”

To the Dance for the Cure community, Brielle expresses sincere gratitude. “Thank you for being so welcoming. The past two years have been incredible—meeting so many of you and hearing about the life-changing work this community does is inspiring. It’s clear that the heart of Dance for the Cure lies in its amazing volunteers.”
Dance for the Cure extends a warm thank you to Brielle for her continued generosity and incredible talent. We look forward to partnering with her for many more events to come!
