The Hillsborough Lady Raider Girls Soccer program, made up of Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman/Sophomore teams, isn’t just about athletic achievement—it’s about building character, community spirit, and a commitment to giving back.
Each year, the players are encouraged to volunteer their time with local charities, and their dedication shines brightest during their senior year when those volunteer hours can earn them scholarships for continuing education. It’s a program that fosters not only strong athletes but also engaged community leaders.
Since 2020, the Lady Raiders have been proud supporters of Dance for the Cure. This past October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they turned their attention once again to raising funds for our mission. The girls baked and sold cookies, cupcakes, and brownies both during the school day and at their special Pink Game on October 23. In addition to their bake sale, they partnered with SneakerPlus to run a Pink Store, with all proceeds benefiting Dance for the Cure.
Through their collective efforts, the Lady Raiders raised an impressive $556 to support local breast cancer patients in financial need.
We are incredibly grateful to the Hillsborough Lady Raider Girls Soccer teams for their continued generosity and dedication. Their hard work is making a real difference in the lives of those navigating breast cancer right here in our community.
