Celebrating 25 Years of Impact with a Happy Hour TouchStone Party

On Friday, April 19, 2024, Dance for the Cure (DFC) kicked off a year-long celebration of its 25th year of supporting local breast cancer patients with a Happy Hour TouchStone Party. Hosted by DFC’s Basket Genies at the home of volunteer Arleen Kornbluth, the event was a warm gathering of community members dedicated to making a difference. The evening featured sparkling jewelry, fine wine, delicious appetizers, and dessert, creating a festive and meaningful atmosphere.

A highlight of the night was the raffle of 10 beautiful pieces of jewelry, generously donated by Tracy Abate, an Independent Stylist for TouchStone Crystal and long-time DFC supporter. The excitement was clear as 10 lucky winners walked away with these stunning pieces.

Beyond the enjoyment of the evening, the event had a significant impact. Thanks to the efforts of the Basket Genies and the generosity of Tracy Abate, DFC earned $3,000 worth of free jewelry, which will be featured in the Basket Raffle at our upcoming Ribbons of Hope fundraiser on October 24, 2024. These contributions are vital as we continue our mission to support breast cancer patients in need.

Over the past 25 years, DFC has grown due to the dedication of our volunteers and the steadfast support of the local community. Together, we've provided over $1 million in financial assistance to patients across Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties. This work wouldn't be possible without the commitment and generosity of everyone involved.

As we look forward to the Ribbons of Hope event, we’re reminded of the difference that collective effort can make. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every event like this one plays a role in easing the burden for those facing a breast cancer diagnosis. We invite you to be part of our ongoing journey—whether by attending events, volunteering, or donating—every contribution helps us continue this important work.
