Dance for the Cure is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to the prevention and cure of breast cancer through the celebration of dance.
We are a 100% volunteer organization. All monies raised are distributed directly to families in Somerset, Middlesex and Hunterdon counties who have found themselves in difficult and unforeseen circumstances because of breast cancer.
To date, Dance for the Cure has gifted over $512,500, helping hundreds of local families.
"Excellent, informative, emotional and fun! I cried, and then I went home and made an appointment for a mammogram."
How We Got Started
When Kathleen Cirioli was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998, she relied on her passion for dance to motivate her to weather the many difficult months of treatment. She fought her way back to continue running her dance studio and teaching tap dancing. In 1999, Dance for The Cure began its program of entertaining and educating audiences about breast cancer, and in so doing, has helped numerous families impacted by cancer.
Dance for the Cure is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to helping local families impacted by breast cancer. You can help! Attend our annual fundraiser, Ribbons of Hope, volunteer your time or services or have DFC's program at your next event.
If you or someone you know is seeking help or has questions, please contact us.
